What does VBTA do?

VBTA seeks, holds and manages approvals under Whole Vehicle Type Approval regulations for a variety of N1, N2 and N3 vehicles. Manufacturing, based on these approvals and in compliance with a range of Quality Assurance and Conformity of Production protocols is undertaken by VBTA Members. Members compete with each other on commercial terms, technical innovation and service.

OBD & RMI CERTIFICATE

It provides access to vehicle OBD information and vehicle repair and maintenance information in compliance with the provisions of: Article 61 of Regulation (EU)2018/858 of the European Parliament and of the Council and Annex X to that Regulation with respect to the types of vehicle, system, component or separate technical unit listed in the attachment to this certificate.

QA Policy

VBTA Limited (VBTA) and its members recognise their responsibilities as a provider of quality products and services. To this end, VBTA has developed and documented a Quality Management System (QMS) for the new GB CoP compliance. The QMS complies with the requirements needed to keep fully in compliance with all CoP requirements but not certificated. This manual will provide comprehensive evidence to all customers/stakeholders & suppliers of what controls are implemented to ensure product safety and service quality
